I’m an award-winning humor columnist (1st place, NC Press Association). I’m also a mother, a wife, a dog-owner, and a believer in the power of chocolate to make the world a better place. (Especially hot cocoa with mini marshmallows. Oooh–and a little candy cane hooked over the side of the mug. Yum.) I laugh. I practice gratitude. I avoid housework.
